I'm Laury , founder of seww_what studios!

My specialism is contemporary hand embroidery.
I graduated from  London College of Fashion in 2020 and have spent several years working across the fashion industry and arts education. 

I’ve worked with studios including Sorapol London, the London Embroidery Studio and more recently trained with Hand & Lock, the global ambassadors for the fine art of embroidery.

seww_what is my rebellion against the idea that everything needs to be new, perfect or fast, making is power.

Ironically, when I am not in the studio you will find me whizzing around a roller derby track or listening to a crime podcast with one of my cats snoozing away on my lap.
