weaving taster session

£65.00

A relaxed introduction to contemporary weaving in the beautiful surroundings of Little Berkhamsted. You’ll learn a range of simple weaving techniques and create your own small woven sample to take home.

You’ll work on a pre-warped handloom (pictured) with all materials provided - although you’re very welcome to bring along any special yarns or fabrics you’d like to experiment with. Bring your favourite mug for tea breaks too!

If you find yourself hooked, there’s the option to continue with our 1 day weaving workshops where you’ll work from patterns such as diamond weave and herringbone . Weaving patterns and starter kits will also be available to purchase if you’d like to keep making at home.
